VeriSynth Core is released under the MIT License. This means you are free to:

  • Use the software for any purpose, including commercial use

The MIT License requires that you include the original copyright notice and license text in any distribution of the software.

3. Privacy and Data Protection

VeriSynth is designed with privacy-first principles:

  • Local Processing: All data processing occurs locally on your infrastructure. No data is sent to our servers.
  • No Data Collection: We do not collect, store, or access your sensitive data.
  • Privacy by Design: Our synthetic data generation preserves statistical properties while protecting individual privacy.
  • Verifiable Privacy: Cryptographic proof receipts allow you to verify privacy guarantees.

You are responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable data protection laws (such as GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA) when using VeriSynth with your data.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use VeriSynth only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Attempt to reverse engineer or compromise the privacy protections of the Service
  • Use the Service to generate synthetic data that could be used to harm individuals or groups

The VeriSynth software is licensed under the MIT License. However, the VeriSynth name, logo, and branding are proprietary to us and protected by trademark law.

You may not use our trademarks without our prior written consent. Any contributions you make to the open-source project may be incorporated into the software under the MIT License.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure. You use the Service at your own risk.

While VeriSynth is designed to generate privacy-safe synthetic data, you are responsible for:

  • Conducting your own privacy assessments
  • Ensuring compliance with applicable regulations
  • Verifying that synthetic data meets your specific privacy requirements

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR USE, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

Our total liability to you for any claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.
